Well seeing as how I'm in the market and my purchase highly relies on the interior, specifically the seats, I thought I'd just verify the different kinds of seats.

I know there are leather ones and cloth ones (suede) but there seems to be another kind.. sort of a weave pattern? not sure how to describe it but it doesn't look like typical cloth and definitely not leather.

So if someone could just tell me what these seats are exactly and what models I can find these on then = win.

Also, I've looked for a part number and everything but still no luck (haven't called a dealer yet) but can you buy seats new from Mazda? Anyone have a guess on how much some red leather ones would be? (Red leather is DISGUSTING)

 

You can get the recaro carbon kevlar seats that were available in the RZ and spirit R rx7s. They cost an arm and a leg . If money isn't an issue then why not.

Base model has with cloth seats with something that resembles a weave type pattern.
Touring had leather seats.
R1 had Alcantara seats.
