I have a 1993 MAZDA RX7 and the dashboard is seperating around the defrost vent. Is is possible to reattach with glue and if so what type

Ideally the windshield would be removed and reinstalled. Otherwise I might try spraying the adhesive into a disposable cup and being really careful using a swab to apply it. It should tack up quickly and hold the vinyl in place.
