Danish RX7 FC 89 - "Fuelcutting" while sharp-turning?
Hi,
Steffen from Denmark here!
I have an RX7 FC NA, S4 from 89. It has only run around 55.000 miles.
It drives very smooth, but when turning in a sharp corner, it completely dies, until the car is driving straight again, and it happens every single time.
Have attached a little picture of the car.
Hope that someone have an answer for my problem.
Best regards Steffen.

There is a small baffle in the fuel tank surrounding the pump. Yours has probably become detached and is now free floating in the tank. This allows fuel to slosh away from the pickup during cornering. Also, at the same time check the pickup sock on the pump. They have been known to fall off, or yours may just be clogged.

Wow, thanks for the quick answer. I actually had planes to take of the fuel tank to give it a nice cleaning, because i have just put in a new gasoline filter, and it was nearly stuffed! Could not believe that the car could still run.
Again, thank you for your answer.
Best regards from Steffen from over seas.
