im putting a 92 turbo into a 74 vw,i have a complete stock harness i wont be useing a/c power steering, none of the factory gauges. i will use engine management, knock sensor, temp sensor ect. can all the unused wires be cut from the harness without causing any issues?

 

most engine management uses it's own specific harness,so What ECU are you using to facilitate cutting wires on?

 

its a stock ecu with apexi piggy backed ecu its out of a wrecked rx7 ive pulled all the wire harness but wont be using most of it except the ecus. and cooling fan setup and im guessing i need the air pump.
