corksport exhaust melting my bumper

hey,

The previous owner of my S5 TII has mounted a corksport exhaust system, but he mounted it with the pipe against the rear bumper. So the bumper isnt that nice any more lol.

My question to the people with a rx7 fc TII that have a corksport exhaust system: Did you have this problem and what did u do to mount it a little lower under the car?

I'm looking for some idea's to solve it, so i can change it next time.

Thanks

well i dont have this exhaust on my tII. but i had the same problem with my supra. i was able to find some longer hangers which helped lower the tip a 1/2". just take your hangers off, place the exhaust were you would like it to be and measure how much longer they need to be. go to a muffler shop and tell them what you are looking for. they should have a few different sizes.
have you emailed corksport? they may know exacley what you need.

I could be wrong, but I understood that they don't even put hangers with the pipe.

If they did, you would expect it fit's lol

It has the have hangers somewhere. Take a look under the car to see where modifications could be made.
