so i had an s4 that ran easy as hell jump int pump the gas three times and turn she started right up every time even with one blown chamber . that got totalled and i got an s5 87 nwith new turbo BOV turbo timer CAI setup but all on the stock ECU . she floods easily as in everytime i try starting by key . if i push start it she will run , well usually but yesterday i had to drag it to start it . today i jump in it turn it over and she fired up instantly so i brought it up to 3k for ten secs like my na did and let her idle for like five minutes . go to take off and she stalled and flooded . ive tried every thing but dragging it down the street again i even pushed it 40 yards downhill and she wouldnt stay running. she has compression and resonse when driving but the fuel system is haywire sometimes you will rev it but she spits or chokes and backfires . what can i do beyond upgrading the ecu to get it to stop flooding or running too leena as she does

welcome to the board.

just a few pointers, first. you should probably proofread your questions/responses before submitting them simply because it may keep your from getting answers because people may simply not have or not want to make the time to find out what you're trying to say. also, if your T2 is an '87, then you have another S4.

anyway, for the amount of times it sounds like you've flooded the thing, you may just want to get a set of plugs and start anew. do the de-flooding procedure and have at it with the new plugs. tune it up, for that matter, just so you know the car is starting off with fresh maintenance parts. if that doesn't solve it, then you know you need to get more complex troubleshooting/repairs done.

is your "new" turbo a stock replacement or some kind of aftermarket unit?

go through your fuel system and see exactly what composes it. since it sounds like the changes were made before you bought the car, then who knows what parts the previous owner changed or modified/hacked?
