cooling mod question

hey guys i was just wondering if there is such a thing as over doing it with the cooling mods. i was planning to get a koyo rad, a 180 degree thermostat and fan switch, vented hood. is that to much or the cooler the better?

You will be able to get a lot more help if you post vehicle information. Year/model at the minimum.

The fan switch and vented hood are probably overkill. Install a PFC and 2nd Gen Thermoswitch.

The point of cooling mods is reliability. I would make sure you've got all of the major things in good condition: cooling hoses, FPD, AST, fuel filter, plugs, plug wires, etc.
