parts break all the time,so the answer is most likely Yes.
Used parts can't be found in this section(your thread will go BYE-BYE) BUT you can search the Classifieds on the Forum to see how much they go for.
If you are buying NEW then be prepared to shell out big bucks as parts now a days are outrageously priced.You must also decide on whether it is worth it to buy new and how long you intend to keep the car.
Honestly,the Convertable roof is used mostly in the summer months so in my opinion I would not be investing in NEW parts.

Yes, mine stopped working and it cost me about $5 to fix it.
My friend's engine stopped working and it cost him about $3,500 to fix it.
