Confusion about manual

Hi!

I have a 1988 RX-7 factory workshop manual. Can I use this for my 1986 car, or are there too many technical differences? I understand that both years are Series 2 models, but was much improved/changed from 1986 to 1988?

Actually, the 86-88 models were Series 4. Maybe you were thinking of 2nd Generation (86-91)

Yes. Since you have an 86 (non turbo) just follow the NA stuff in there.

D'oh! Yes, you're right about the series of course, and I was definitely thinking about 2nd Gen *blushes*
