NC Confused on temperature sensor/switch

Hello,

I am confused as to which is the temperature switch and sensor. I have an 84 GSL that is mostly stock.

I know there are 3 sensors:
(1) on the top of the radiator, which I beleive is the coolant level
(2) on the bottom of the radiator, this is unplugged
(3) on the water pump housing, wires are cut

My temp gauge is working (atleast it looks that way)

So my questions are....
Missing any sensor?
Which is the temp switch?
Which is the temp sensor?
and where do they plug into?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Jon

Low coolant sensor: top of rad.
Temp sensor for ECU: back of water-pump.
Temp sender for Gauge: side of engine
Temp Sensor for Start up(ECU) Bottom of Rad.

If the wires are cut on the one at the back of the Water pump, then you have a problem. The ECU needs that to sense temp to compensate fuel when running.
that can cause hot start problems, excessive fuel consumption,Hard start, flooding.

It's 12a, ill have to locate the one on the side, I figured I was missing something since my guage is working.

Now as far as the one behind the water pump where does it plug into?? The other cut end is no where just a couple of loose plugs and they are the same

Also where can I purchase one ?? All the sensors I've come across look nothing like the one I took out

Behind the water pump should be a square or round connector
