Clutch Help
Hey, guys. Finally got the '85 home. We replaced the master cylinder and clutch slave, and it was running for a good 3 or 4 days and then the clutch went again. There's no response, the clutch pedal just goes straight to the floor and stays there. We've tried bleeding the line, with no response. Super new to rotary engines, and I really would appreciate some help. This car was amazing to drive for the few days I was able to and it's rather saddening having it sitting in the garage again.
Thanks
Thanks

bleed the air out of the clutch hydraulics.
You had air that was trapped and just "let go".
That would cause the pedal to go down to the floor.
I did the same thing..
Bleed the Living daylights out of the clutch and try it again. It will come back up.

Yeah, I think we're going to do that some more tomorrow. Our friend was saying it might be the transmission, but that doesn't make any sense because it was running so smooth before the clutch went. No grinding gears, no troubles shifting. Just all of a sudden we couldn't shift, it was really strange.

Finally got the car up and running. Bought a new master cylinder and slave, then bled the lines from there. Can't wait to have insurance back on this thing
