How do you check the clutch height on a 1990 FC?

I know the Factory Service Manual has the procedure for the FD and measurements.

Have you checked the FSM for the FC? There is a link to it in the FC FAQ sticky.

Freeplay specs are listed in the 2nd gen FSM. Freeplay is just the movement in the pedal before you start feeling resistance. It's the distance between the master cylinder and the rod connected to the back of the clutch pedal, but you can measure it at the pedal itself.
