Clutch

I'm looking to get a new clutch kit for my NA 88 gtu preferably one with a stage 2 feel. I've been leaning towards ACT but just don't know what would go good with my stock set up, also what's the difference between 4 puck 6 puck? I'm new lol any recommendations

Personally I am not a fan of a 6 puck clutch.Think of it as a flower with 6 pedals on it.
One pedal can start to grip before any of the others do and can wear a flywheel face quickly.
I prefer a full face/full disc especially on an N/A.

So would a 4 puck relatively be worse or better? What clutches have you ran and if it's not much trouble could you provide any links to some? My clutch is slipping

if your running stock stay away from 4 6 puck, it's overkill and jerky. Act organic street clutch is nice, smooth and can handle good power if you wish to upgrade later on. Difference between 4 puck and 6 puck is the increase in surfaces used to clamp down onto the flywheel

Another thing to keep in mind when upgrading clutch disc and pressure plate for a stronger pedal is that the weakest link in the system is going to break. Make sure that your clutch lines can handle the pressure. I had a friend who had a Eagle Talon Turbo AWD that he decided to put a stage 3 in and the lines could not handle the pressure and had to upgrade the lines.

For a N/A car a good street clutch will be comfortable and do anything you need it to do.

Unless you are specifically looking to make the clutch pedal stiffer, have more abrupt engagement or bragging rights when you say "stage 2", then just a stock replacement clutch will be more than adequate. 146HP won't overpower it.
