Cluster wiring help me out
Can anyone help me out here. The pic shows the wiring colors and what most of them go to on the back of the cluster on the white/black connectors. What i want to know is besides the power wire for the cluster lights is there any other wire that need 12v on for the cluster to work? I get the lights on but nothing else works. Cluster is from a 87 t2

Most likely the coolant sensor at the top of the rad.
Either it is disconnected or broken.
You can temporarily ground the wire from the harness(that goes to that sensor) and it will stop the buzzing.(brownish single wire I believe near the air box)
Mind you I say "temporarily" as it is kind of important to keep an eye on coolantr levels in these engines.
