check engine light

CA check engine light

Hi everyone, i hope you guys can help me answer my question, um i have a 1990 Series 5 FC non turbo and i notice that whenever i go through at a sharp turn my car seem to hesitate and the check engine light come on . anybody got an answer for this?

From the 2nd gen FAQ at the top of this section, hesitation related to sharp turns is most likely a dirty fuel sock on the fuel pump, or rusted out baffles in the fuel tank. The check engine light may be as a result of the engine starving for fuel, but you can check codes too: http://www.johnr.com/cpucodes.html.
