FD after-market radiator Q?

Hi,

My FD RX7 currently has the stock radiator on it and I plan to upgrade it in the near future. From the research I have done so far it looks like the Fluidyne would be a good option.

Are there any other radiators out there that might match the Fluidyne for performance and ease of (no-mods) installation?
Thanks.

Ted

Flyuidyne is definitely one of the better fitting radiators. There are others like the Mazda Competition radiator made by Ron Davis & AWR Racing but they are more expensive.

RX7.com has a cheaper option listed here but I'm not familiar with it. They are a good place so give them a call and see what the deal is.

Koyo has one too. As far as radiators go its more about air flow through the radiator and not necessarily just how thick the core is.

I am installing a Fluidyne now and personally I would not want to use anything larger (Koyo, etc are larger) unless you have an aftermarket intake and intercooler duct.

Thanks for the input!

Dave -- my car has the cold air box & intercooler (stage 3 package) supplied by M2 performance (Mostly Mazda) long ago. All is in great shape.

I plan to use it a bit more now and in a warmer climate (Houston area)…want to do what I can to prevent cooling issues.

Had a few minutes a while ago and ran across a new unit from CX-Racing which has new fans included.

I’m curious - I wouldn't be surprised if most of these new radiators supplied by these outfits are mfg in China these days as are many products?
