Carburetor Questions
Hey everybody im new to RX-7 Club im on RX-8 club though aint been on in a long while so anyway My name is nick and I have a 1985 RX-7 with the 12a and I need to know what type carburetors will fit this thing I cant find any parts at any auto store. If any body knows anything about this let me know thanks.
Stock Nikki and that's it. The cfm rating of the carb is about 290 with peanut sized primary throats, a base plate with convoluted emissions routing and a heat shield designed around the stock linkage movement.

If you can follow instructions, then just get a rebuild kit for the one you've got. it'll take a few hours to do, but its not all that tough. Otherwise, watch the for sale section, or post a want add.

well the problem with that is i am bipolar and yeah got irritated the other day and tore it off with a hammer but i found me a carb for it thanks to mar3 . but the rebuild thing never really been my thing id rather just have it all brand new. but thanks.

...and 600 cfm is WAY too much airflow for a stock 12A unless it's like a Qaudrajet carb with tiny front primaries and monster secondaries.
