carbureted vs fuel injected. Whats the difference

Being.that this is my first rx7 I have a simple question, or questions. What's the difference between a 13b that has carburetors and one that's fuel injected. Mine is fuel injected, and I was wondering if id gain anything by using carburetors. Is there a difference in horsepower, is one more reliable, etc. Any info would be appreciated

welcome.

it would help a little more if you said what model you have.

everyone has their own situations and will therefore have to make their own decisions on the matter. however, this is my opinion. generally speaking, in this day and age, there is little to no point in going with a carburetor (a) fuel injections generally has a better overall powerband, and (b) the cost gap that used to exist, has narrowed significantly, if it hasn't been totally eliminated.
