is this car worth $2900?

I am going to go look a this car tomorrow heres what the ad says:

For sale is a 1991 Mazda RX-7 I have been daily driving it for the past two months, and it's been quite a fantastic car. However I own two RWD two-door coupes of the same color, hardly practical. So I've decided the RX-7 must ultimately go. Car was repainted a few years ago, clean title, car itself runs wonderfully, and drives quite well with no issues.

All interior pieces are present beyond those noted as damaged. Main issues are the drivers seat, vents, and shifter bushings. Sunroof needs a shove to work but does, and doesn't appear to leak, Passenger window is slow to go up, might just need the track greased. P/S is out due to a blown line, but it's still quite easy to drive even without power steering. A/C is out due to a leak in the system somewhere likely bad o-rings on the lines. Shifter bushings need done as well, as the shifter is sloppy. HVAC all works well, as well as most of the electrics, however the lights do not retract. Clutch feels great with proper engagement, all 4 tires have around 80% tread.

It is a 13b non-turbo, with 109k on it and a 5-speed.

Car is registered, and insured so it can be driven with no issues.
Also has:
-4-piston front brake calipers
-Borla cat-back
-New starter
-New battery
-New rear brake pads

I will consider trades + cash for the following:
Older Ford 4x4 SUV/Truck
VW New Beetle

^^has a dent on this side

what do you guys think is it worth $2900? what should i look for when i go see it tomorrow ?

it depends on how much you wanna spend and how much its worth to you to own a n rx7. I wouldnt give 2900 just based on whats said is wrong with it. Next how does it run. does it start properly do all the gauges work properly. Basically you need to nit pick everything because it can be difficult to find or afford parts for these things. If you look hard enough you can find a diamond in the rough.
I got my 90 vert for $1800. Take a look at my profile and tell me what you think.

I'm always weary when someone says; so and so is not working but 'it should be easy to fix' or 'it just needs a bit or work'.
If it was that easy (and/or cheap) why don't THEY fix it? Either way, you're getting stuck with what someone else doesn't want to deal with anymore.

Ask if the engine has been rebuilt. If not, with 109,000 miles it will most likey need a rebuild in the next 15,000 miles or so.

It's not a REW, N/As easily go for quite a bit more than that...

I know of 3 1st gen's with stock motors that went between 120,000 and 130,000. So, yes they do go as well. One was my brother's car and he maintained that car as if it were his child.

My S5 n/a motor Lasted Alot longer than that and it handled boost duty afterwards

I paid $1000 for my 91 it only needed a Clutch and a master cylinder Everything else in the car worked

All things considered the car looks great for a 20 year old car. Good buy.
