car wont go past 2k
So the day i got my rx7 i drove way down south to trade my car for it and on the way back i stopped at stancewars seattle to check it out but when i went to leave my car wouldnt go past 2k rpm and when i tried it would bog down and shakenreally hard. This lasted for the time it took me to leave the college campus it was held on so about 5 mins then it started to work perfect. Anybody have any ideas?

Pull the fuel pump sending unit, inspect tank/pre pump filter for heavy debris. This assumes motor's healthy & making compression, which you can get a rough feel for by pulling the lower 2 plugs & cranking, AFTER pulling both EGI COMP & EGI INJ fuses, and listening for 6 even pulses during cranking. Should give you a place to start, anyway

Ive done a compression test and it holds great even compression on all seals. I really dont think its a fuel issue. It maybe happened for 5 minutes then stopped and hasnt happened since. Do these engine have knock sensors? Any sensor failures that would put it in any kind of limp mode?
