yea so i recently bought a 88 gtu and car has rebuilt motor and trans and is nice.. but one lil problem is that when i start the car most of the time, it doesnt start, so i pull the 2 inner fuses out, crank for couple seconds, put the fuses back in, and start the car.. once the car is started it sometimes stalls even in neutral. any tips??

 

I have to pull the main fuse for the starter when I leave it sitting for half hour after an hour running, but I've not heard of this issue. You could be flooding the injectors which is a common problem with RX7

 

I'd check the Coolant sender at the back of the water pump.It Tells the ECU when to cut fuel(sort of)..if that is bad then the car floods(especially when warm).But what you have there is tell tale signs that your car is Flooding.If you have to Remove the EGI fuse to start the car,Especially when it gets hot.(then it is flooding).and another "guess" is that the injectors are Clogged up(dirty) and giving the car too much fuel..But you cannot really tell that unless you take and get them cleaned and see IF the problem goes away...I hope someone else Joins in to Help,as this is What the RX7 club is all about..Helping the Newb as well as the "Baffled"!..lol!..Cheers,STYX!~

 

lol its such a pain in the *** kuz when i had to drop this girl home from work.. i had to pull the fuses and crank it and warm it up... it was so embarassing omg
