car stalls in neutral after i let off gas.
I'm pretty sure its my apex seal but its done that to me before amd went away. Id be crusing then put it neutral to come to a stop and rpms drop and car goes byebye. (Shuts off) it also has no power over 3500rpm.. just happened a couple days ago and just started shutting off on me today. Help anyone? Pm me it'd be easiest thank yyou.
Not to be mean, but are you sure you know what an apex seal is? You have 6 of them, and compression problems don't just fix themselves (except under special circumstances such as a stuck seal from sitting for years).
Stalling at idle can be as simple as a vacuum leak or TPS problem. It can also be a symptom of low compression, but you'll need to do a compression test before jumping to that conclusion: Info here -> https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...55#post5131155. A lack of power will also occur with blown engines, so I'd make testing it a high priority.

Well another issue I'm having is that over 4000 rpms the car likes to generate a good amount of smoke especially with this new problem. It is idling lower but the stalling I figured out was my air filter hose was loose. The rest it appears tp be a fuel issue as I was going around a corner it liked to.cutoit and sputter on me.. so ill figure that out just replaced fuel pump wiring harness relay amd fuse 2 months ago. Must be injectors or filter.
See 2nd gen FAQ. Stalling / sputtering while making a turn is going to either be the fuel pump sock or rusted out baffles inside the tank.
