1979.... I really have wacked hard and wondering am I missing something? There is ano axle nut I can see but its on there good. Should I just keep wacking? I was thinking to try some heat but since ill be racing in another week dont want to warp the thing.

 

Dunno about FBs, but on my FC I had a similar problem. Use Liquid Wrench/penetrating fluid on the rotor screws and use a decent size punch to help get them off, then used a rubber mallet whacking towards the outside of the car to get the rotor off.

 

Maybe a slide hammer?

 

could you take it for a drive to get some heat through it? plenty of lube might help too
