I have a 1988 rx7 nonturbo coupe. And a non adjustable suspension. I want to know if i can upgrade my one piston calipers to the four piston calipers. And of so wt modification if any how do i do it please and thank u

 

You have two choices.

You can swap the 5 lug spindles onto your hubs and along with them, the 5 lug rotors and 4 piston calipers. You'll need to buy new wheels as well. Also the master cylinder and brake booster needs to be swapped as well with the parts from the 4 piston car.

If you have a nice set of 4 lug wheels, you can install the 4 piston calipers onto the 4 lug hubs with a bit of fabrication:

Does this work for both front and rear? So that all 4 calipers would be the same as the front ones.

 

I just recently bought AngryEarl's TII 4 piston calipers, drilled and slotted rotors. It was all plug and play. A 4 piston conversion should be plug and play

 

So I just got my first FC3S and it needs new front breaks, should I just do all of them? Is it worth upgrading? Or just put the factory ones in?

 

No.

If you just bought the car, then I'd say it's worth it to replace all the brakes as you really don't know the history of the vehicle.

If you already have the 4 piston calipers up front, there is no point upgrading. Just use factory parts.

 

Definitely get all new pads for front and rear
