Build questions!
Ok so im in the process of an fd build and i have a couple questions before i order some stuff.
I am going to start with the aero... I want to get the Spec-B front bumper from Shine Auto but i noticed its shown with wide front fenders. Im running 8.5s all around so i have no need for wide fenders yet.. Lol. So my question is can i run the Shine Auto Spec-B front bumper with stock front fenders?Or am i going to have a fitment issue?
2nd i also want to get the Spec-Re street diffuser from Shine Auto, and was wondering if i will have a fitment issue with this on a stock rear bumper?
Ok now to paint haha. Im going for a medium blue color, but i want it to have a wet look to it. So i know that i have to shoot a silver base to get a good blue correct?
And i am ordering my paint this week so im going to put a list of everything i think i need. Please let me know if im missing anything or need more or less of something. To start its all coming from House Of Kolors. Primer=gallon KD3000 Primer and 1quart KDA3000 Activator. (am i still going to need a sealer if i use this??) First Base= KS12 silver 1qt. Base Coat= KBC05 cobalt blue 2qt. Clear coat UFC35 1gl. Hardner=KU150 1qt. Reducer= RU311 (medium dry) 1gl.
And i plan on doing 1 coat of silver, 2 coats of blue possibly 3 coats, and 4 coats of clear. Then a wetsand buff. Hope fully i will have this running by may 15th, and i am taking pictures as i go so i will post a full build thread!!

Eat. Sleep. Rotate.
No idea on paint (not my are at all lol) but Shine's bumper and diffuser should fit no matter what fenders you have up front and as long as the rear is OEM the diffuser should be fine.

Some primers require a reducer for more flex but if your.praying a new bumper you need to spray an adhesive first like bulldog. So scuff degrease then apply a dry coat of bulldog then wait for it to flash then a thick coat then drop coat some paint for a seal. It will prevent from pealing and shatterying. Also add a lil bull dog to your clear also helps flex the paint more. If you need more questions pm me. I paint cars for a living

Also Im painting my car as well. I wouldnt use any laqour primer, paint or clear! Especially clear! That's the one you will.have problem hazing or pilling. Take your time and make sure its all scuffed good!! Can't ever scuff enough
