But it's worth mentioning that unless you are spending time on the track, upgrading the brakes is not worth the trouble. Especially if you already have the excellent 4 piston fronts and vented rears.

 

s4's come stock with 4 pistons in the front? that's dope that's dope

 

No they do not. The TII, GXL, 87 Sport and 88 GTU come with 4 pot front brakes and vented rears, all other models have single piston fronts.

Just ordered my front OEM blanks and front Hawk HPS from r1concepts. I couldn't find a cheaper price anywhere.

Several models come with 4 piston calipers and vented rear rotors. GXL, TII, 'Vert and maybe one I'm forgetting. All other models came with single piston front calipers. Check the FAQ for a model by model breakdown of features.
