Brake pistons frozen
2 of the 4(both inner) pistons of each of the front brake calipers are frozen on my 91 convertible. does anyone have an idea of a good way to break them loose? or is it a lost cause?
i was thinking of a vise or a hydrolic press, but because they are so light(aluminum, right?) i'm worried about wrecking them. I'm buying new ones so i can drive safely(read: not as cool but atleast my car will stop) but i'd still like to use these again in the future as i like my car as it is, with all its wizardry.
any tips welcome, Brett

Not sure about whats "not cool" about working brake pistons. But you can use compressed air to force them out. Put a block of wood in between the pistons if you value your face.
lol, yea. gotta love the old ceramic pistons that would break chunks off if you weren't careful(not 7 calipers but reminded me of the old days rebuilding calipers). might want to try to compress them first to break them loose with a c-clamp.
