Brake Master Cylinder replacement
What's the best (and easiest) way to replace the brake master cylinder. I have brake fluid leaking from between the reservoir and the metal housing. I bought a new brake master cylinder and would like how to advise from someone who has done it.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
If it is just leaking at the bushings between the cyl an dthe tank, just replace the bushings.
No sense spending money on a new master cyl when $15 worth of parts will fix the problem.

Make sure it's the bushing that are at fault. I've seen the reservoirs crack. I'm just north of you in St Joseph and have spares if needed. Or you can check with Black Dragon, they're part of LMC in Lenexa.
