Bouncing idle only when headlights or running lights arent on

Hey guys, I've done some research and havent been able to find much. My idle is bouncing between 1500 and 1000 RPM. It stabilizes when i turn on the running lights (first setting on the headlight ****) or the headlights. Also, it will stabilize at 1000 when the TPS is disconnected.

I set the TPS cold the other day with my PFC that I haven't permanently installed yet. Don't have a AFM hooked up, so dont want to run the car on the PFC base map yet.

Anyone have any insight?

Does your car have the Fast Idle Cam? Can't remember if the JDM's come equipped with that feature. If it does then the TPS would need to be set while the engine is hot. Also, you stated that the AFM was not being used. Don't you think this might affect idling?

I meant air fuel meter gauge. I want to keep an eye on A/F ratios if I'm going to actually running the car on PFC base map to adjust the hot TPS settinga
