several times while driving, slowing to a stop while putting in the clutch the engine will die or barely stay alive. and after sitting in my garage or somthing the longer it sits the more smoke there is on startup. but there are no other signs of bad coolant seals, champagne test, great compression, no smoke or very very very little while running, ect.
the person i bought it from said "its gonna need a rebuild within a year, the coolant seals are bad" that was 5 months ago. could i have some symptoms of blowncoolant seals and not others?

 

figured out my brake booster is not holding vacuum. pulling the hose off and plugging it the car idled perfect.
