Body Control Module

86 Mazda RX 7 BCM Body Control Module Chassis | eBay

Will this fit my '87 n/a sport? My horn, the beep when you leave the keys in the ingition/leave headlights on, turn signal clicker and a few other things only work 5-10% of the time, and when they do work they all start working at once. I was thinking that this module might be at fault. What exactly does this module do? Thanks in advance for the help.

What you're looking for is the CPU (Central Processing Unit), which is a tall black plastic thing next to the interior fuse box. That is not it. My best guess would be that that is an alarm control unit, which is behind the glovebox.

These are the 2 part numbers listed in the S4 parts fiche. If your car has the light by the lock cylinder, pick the second one.
