Better base for a swap.. 12a or 13b?

I absolutely love rotary motors...

What would be a better base to build off of.. 13b or the first gen. 12a?
Motor would most likely not be running n/a during it's life..

Looking to do the swap in a first gen. Miata.

13B. Parts are easier to find, and there's more displacement. Also they are far more available in turbo form.
