On the boards, japan2la is a good option for jspec motors. Just PM him what you want.

Your friend does not have an n/a jspec, they don't exist.

Japan2LA is a good option, if he's got engines available.

If not, www.gotjdm.com is a source I had some success with. They buy from Osakamotors, and act as an intermediate for you. This is a good thing, since Osaka has a reputation for crappy customer service. The owner, Paul, quickly took care of getting me a replacement transmission, after it was damaged during shipping. You'll take a risk buying an engine without seeing or testing it first, but there's a 3 month written warranty if you end up getting a blown engine. Also, call them rather than buying online. I got an engine and transmission for ~$300 less than their website listed.
