ON Best looking interior for an FD

After seeing this video. I have a dream to make my FD into a super car.
I know there's the Veilside, but the interior still doesn't look like a super car.
Wonder if anyone seen any other up-great to make the FD interior like a super car?

Sorry it's in Chinese and there's no english translation....
Hopefully you can imagent the conversation.

Basically this is those Gold digger video with a GTR.

In the beginning, that girl knows nothing about GTR and saying that it's a cheap modification car.

After the the girl ask her friend and find out the cost of GTR, she beg him to go for a date.

He give her an condition if you can run behind the car and I will take you out......

Th interior of most super cars are designed with the fabric in mind. If you know the entire dash will be leather, you make sure that the dash is shaped and angled so that it can be made to look good.
Also, what is a sueprcar interior. Is it like the F40 racecar interior? Is it a 1980 Maserati, or maybe a Rolls Phantom? Or a Koeningsegg or Pagani?

It also depend 110% on those doing the work. I have yet to see a single aftermarket interior that have supercar quality. Simply because nobody will spend $50.000 for the work to get the work done.
What you end up with is something that look half-assed and soggy.

One of the things I like about the FD interior is that it's very simple and driver focused, I think trying to make it super exotic and super car looking would take away from the car. Maybe doing a few surfaces in alcantara or lightweight materials wouldn't hurt.

I love the fd's interior as it is.
The design is beautiful and driver oriented.
If i ever do something it would be flocking the dash, prevents the sun from blinding you plus covers up all the faults you might have on the dash.

The whole point of this post is more about how to pick up girls with FD LOL
It doesn't have to be fancy material.
It could be just a now a days German car interior like Audi with some tech up-great.

The only thing you will pick up with an FD is boys, age 14-20. If you want chicks you need something mid engined supercarlooking. like the NSX.

LOL. Never understood the need to change the FD interior or exterior. The Factory nailed it imo. They designed it to reflect what it is.

Body kits and upholstery don't change the true nature of any car.

If you want a supercar as a tool to pull chicks, get an R8 or Gallardo. Both under $100k and reliable.

Or if you insist on trying to confuse the young ladies with a homebuilt supercar, check out the car Eric commissioned below. Alcantara dash and other interior bits, lots of custom bits. Be warned that he spent much more than the cost of a Gallardo...

If she’s worth picking up she won’t care what car you’re driving. If you think you need the FD to do that you probably also need to move out of mom’s basement, buy a belt for you pants and work on that complexion.

As been stated the driver-focused design of the FD was great, but agree that the materials choice in the FD left a lot to be desired, especially when compared to its contemporaries. There are aftermarket fixes for things like the weak passenger-side door pull handle. But to really do a make-over requires lots of money and above all...taste.

This guy did a high quality build, and the interior was very well done. There are threads about the car on this forum, and I believe it was eventually purchased by a club member.

And even this high quality build is still not matching a supercar interior. Simply because the interior is not designed with the Alcantara or leather in mind, and you end up with stitchings in the "middle" of an even surface, like on the doors. Its an amazing result for what he had to work with but still it wont match a Porsche or Lambo side by side.
A car made for this kind if fabric, would have lines in the interior that would let materials be stitched along them.

Nope keep going maybe a Ferrari or a Lambo cause I'm still getting plenty of 14-20yr old boys.

I think I remember some guy having all suede interior in his CYM at one of the Mazfests. He was one of those guys with a zillion watt subwoofer and giant chrome Lexanis on it or some ****. Props to him for spending the money/ time/effort, but it honestly looked goofy.

If you want a blingy interior, the FD might be the wrong car for you. For the same 20k or so you can be in a convertible 3 Series. Girls like convertible BMWs more than Mazdas,
