battery dies after sitting for 2 days....
i have a 1990 n/a vert and if i let it sit for 2 or more days without running it the battery drains to the point that i have to charge it all day. i was wondering if any one has had this problem and know whats going on. and do the fc's come with a stock alarm system? the reason for asking is it will sometimes engage its self and go off when ever it wants, and i was wondering if i could disarm it completely or take it out without messing something up.
i personally dont know how to check the alt but i have a few people that know how.
and i dont really know how old the battery is. i have had the car for a little over a year and the battery was in it when i got it. i plan on buying a new battery if my alt checks out fine.

Something is, obviously, slowly draining your battery... Check for a drain.
Remove the negative battery terminal, set a multimeter to AMP current (mA), one prong to the negative car terminal, one prong to the negative battery terminal, BE SURE ALL ELECTRICAL LOADS ARE OFF, now see if the multimeter is reading very very little current (mA) or zero... If it is displaying more than it should be, remove the 60A BTN fuse from the engine fuse box (so that you can open the door of the car without the lights coming on), go into the car and start pulling fuses from the fuse panel by your feet, one at a time. If that fuse doesn't get the multimeter to display zero, then put it back in and try another fuse. You can also try pulling other things... The way I found my drain, was by unplugging my turbo timer. The multimeter then displayed zero, and that's how I knew that was the problem.

If your alarm is randomly going off.. make sure your doors are closed tight and locked, and your trunk lid is shut solid.. I mean really slam that guy down.
well when i got the car the guy told me that if i lock the doors i will then have to unlock the passenger side before the driver side or else it will go off. it wasnt a problem at all, but now the passenger side door lock is broke and i cant get my key in the hole =] lol so i havent been locking it.
