Hey,

I have just put a deposit down on a 2002 Type R Bathurst.

I notice from the photos online that it has the Carbon gear stick, but not the carbon dash area or hand brake. It doesnt have the side decals either. It DOES have the front splitter.

Is there a chance that it might not be a Bathurst and someone has made an attempt to try and make it look like one?

Anything I can do to make sure its 100% legit?

I am sure someone on here can confirm for you. But i thought the Bathurst Type R with carbon trim was only produced in 2001? You probably have a spirit R?

To help us though - have you got any pics? Also whats the VIN number?

Its weird as its just the gear **** thats carbon...

I think CF pieces were an option , like the footrest/floor mats
