Bad ECU
I have a 1987 S4 TII, It has no spark, the Injectors are not firing, I tried a new crank position sensor, and still nothing. I am pretty sure the ECU is shot. It was running very well, but when I got it into the upper RPM range, it acted like it hit a fuel cut-out, then it died, and hasn't started since. Any other ideas?

Check the basics first. Test for 12V at the black/yellow wire at the leading or trailing coil when the ignition is on. If you don't get 12V there, then the ECU/coils won't have power. Check the EGI fuse in that case. And the main relay.
