GA back to basics

Just got my first rotary out of a 87 fc. would like to put it in my 67 datsun and I would like to know what is the minimum that i need on the engine to run properly. it will have a carb but what sensors do i need and what it the thing that runs 4 oil lines to the banjo bolts on the intake? i have no idea how these engines function beyond what howitworks.com shows. any info would be greatly appreciated thanks

you need a distributor from a 12a & the coils. the oil lines put oil into the intake to lube the apex seals. you can just run 2 stroke oil. plug the injector holes . other then that all u need is the basics temp & oil pres. running the engine lean can cause damage.

Head over to the Old School and Other Rotary forum and look at some examples of swaps. The carbureted engine really doesn't need any sensors or any electrical past power to the coils and fuel pump to run.

You can premix if you like at a 1 oz per gallon ratio. It's a big pain in the ***.
