I have been pondering about the possibility of swapping my auto transmission to a manual one in the near future. Is it worth it? My car currently has 89,500 and more on the engine as well as electrical issues and cosmetic work. So my question is, keep it auto and just fix the miscellaneous issues or get a new shell and drop my engine into it or just sell it as is? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
