TX *** end wobble

I can't figure it out!
At low speeds it feels like a rear tire is a odd shape and it wobbles to a stop, it's fine at speeds above 50 but the wobble is really bugging me, the tires and everything under the car look fine, I even went and had the gear oil changed and that seems to help a lil but not much, I don't get much feedback thru the steering wheel and at high speeds it's fine, but it's bugging me that I can't figure her out.
The dealership will charge me 200 bucks just to check her out, and I'm very poor.

So, I checked your profile... '83 RX-7. (It helps to know which generation we're dealing with.)

The rear of my FC wobbled for a while. And this wobble felt VERY unsafe. I figured out that the stock 25+ year old suspension was completely shot. I replaced the shocks and springs. 5,900+ miles later and I still have not experienced any wobble.

If you have the original stock suspension, it definitely should be replaced. Be sure to check the suspension before you decide to make such a purchase.

I could possibly be a blown shock. What I would do first is check your shocks to see if they are not blown. Second, go get an alignment! That could be causing issues with the suspension geometry if its out of wack, especially your toe settings. Third, just for good measure, check your brakes in the rear. Maybe one is going bad since you said it wobbles to a stop.

Nah you know what it might be?
There a quarter size chunk on the center tread that missing all the way past the steel belt! and these are them shitty thin stock tires to boot! I bet cha that what the problem it, I found it while I was checking it all out, and it feels like i was right. My FB is in good shape for it's age apart from the fact i gutted her down to pretty much nothing on the inside cept one seat. Weight reduction makes these lil cars fly!

lol...uggh yea, maybe that's what is causing the problem. You said in your OP that the tires looked fine. Anywhos, I would get on replacing that quick. Tires are soooo important.
