im about to pull out the 135tt so the apexi fc commander with hand held control can come out also right? i know when i unplugged it the car wouldnt crank,so is that the computer? i know a dumb question but help me out

 

without more info the question is really a vague one.Can you explain more what you mean by the engine would not crank.
As in roll over?Was it getting power?Was the engine toast?..

 

yeah sorry..im doing a ls1 swap so removing everything that i dont need. when i unplugged it the car would turn over but not run and when i plugged back in it would run. does it go with the wiring harness when i go to sell.

 

is it a mod?

 

well you won't need to to run the LS1.(90% positive on that).Just to be sure check the Other Engine conversion section (V8 Section).

 

the commander is primarily a monitor of the engines vital signs, and also used to tune for non apex'i licensed tuners. unplugging the commander (looks like an s-video plug) should not prevent the engine from running.

the actual power-fc box that the engine wiring harness goes into is the engine control unit that tells the engine what to do. unplugging that would prevent it from running.
