ON apexi boost guage

hi i just picked up a apexi boost gauge for basically free. but it did not come with the pressure sensor, just the gauge and wires.

so my question is, is the stock boost pressure sensor able to be wired to an apexi gauge? if i a can does someone have a wiring diagram for the stock boost gauge?

thanks
joe

What car are we talking about?

It's unlikely, but possible. You'll have to find some info on the pressure sensor the gauge is suppose to be used with. The pressure sensors on FCs operate on a 5v scale, for instance. But even if the gauge operates on the same scale, it may interpret different voltages as something completely different from the ECU or stock boost gauge. At atmospheric pressure, an S4 TII's sensor will output between 2.3 and 2.7v, while an S5 TII's sensor will output 3.4 - 3.6v. They operate in the same 5v range, but different values mean different pressures. Unless there's a way to recalibrate your gauge, odds are it won't be compatible.
