apex seals
still an ongoing dilema this. my basic overview of spec:
bridge port
enlarged exhaust ports
2 piece e shaft
mazdatrix oversized stud kit
hardened stationary gears
i will be using 3mm apex seals, but which are best. i will be using the car for strip with a big turbo and circuit racing on a smaller turbo. i doubt the car will see street use.
which seals would i be best going for?
pts, als, atkins, hurley, tuff stuff etc

High quality 2mm ceramics should do you well, research up on them and you will be amazed how much boost some people are running on 2mm seals. Remember that mazda has made reductions in seal thickness for a reason.

If you are only racing, go with 1 piece seals.
There is a good post about them here.

All of Mazda's current seals are two piece. Two piece are self adjusting for length so that they don't need clearancing and maintain a good seal as the engine expands and contracts.
Mazda previously used a 3 piece seal but that failed in the sense that it allowed far less wear before the seal would roll out of the rotor apex.
