another vibration issue

Ok Folks my first tech question. i got a 87 nt with a 5 speed. it seems once i hit second gear about 20-25 mph the car starts to vibrate Violantly. soon as i let off the throttle it seems to go away. now ive yet to have this car even on the hw yet as i seem to have bought someone elses headache and i cant afford to replace the whole car that i just bought lol. Also when i reverse it seems to clunk then starts to make almost a squeeking sound with the tempo of the wheels spinning. i know the tires/rims arent an issue as its done this with 2 different sets of rims/tires now. Ive read threw the numerous threads it could be either driveshaft or possibly the cv axles. is there any way to tell if i still am running a stock driveshaft or a rebuildable aftermarket one? cars got 150k on it. also how reliable are the stock coolant gauges mine for some reason never seems to get about 1/4 of the way up. i doubt it is actually staying that cold as when i run it for awhile (30 minutes non stop) there is some smoke coming from the back side of the motor near where the trans bolts to the motor. there appears to be some oil around where the rear main is so im gonna hope and assume that is the problem and its just droping down onto my exhaust and burning up.

Also had one other thing to add i was looking at driveshafts and was wondering if theres a way to tell the stock nt tranny from the turbo trans?(looks like the tranny has been swapped as theres numbers marked on the top in crayon like it came from the junk yard.) the vibration also isnt so much felt in the steering wheel but more toward the back of the car. both rear wheels are missing a wheel stud atm which im going to fix today since the person who had it before me put way to big of rims on it with huge spacers and odviously couldnt figure out how to put lug nuts on w/o snapping the studs off. just to pull the lugs for the spacers off i hada have my wife hold the brake while i stuck a prybar threw the lugs and jacked up on a 2 foot breaker bar with my jack.

the N/A trans has no bell housing, the TII has a separate bell housing.
Unless the driveashaft is custom then the N/A driveshaft wil not fit into a TII or vice versa,,the N/A driveshaft will not fit a TII rear end either(vice versa) Unless you modify the holes.(not recommended)
The rear stud thing: If the stud is broken off then you have to remove/replace the wheel bearings to get another stud on.You cannot just toss another stud on.
