im in the same boat as you, i think learning to completely maintain it would be the best step. then just research like there is no tomarrow, im also curious as to what can be achieved out of a N/A 13b.
welcome to the forums!

Realistically, 200HP while remaining what most people would consider streetable.

But before you go that route, consider how much you will spend to achieve that. You'll probably have the same or more into making a 200HP NA then you would swapping in a TII engine. On the turbo engine, 250HP is trivial on all stock components.

I also thought about the TII engine swap but i figured since im pretty new also i could make do with N/A for now until i get some more experience. I also wasnt expecting 200 more like 170ish. but 250 on stock TII components is news to me.

you can do basic maintainence like new spark plugs, wires, check the belts, flush all the fluids out depending on how long its been sitting. in my opinion i think doing a turbo 2 swap is the best way to get over 200 hp but theres always the v8 swap ... if you want to go that way.

also if your rx7 ever overheats shut the car down immediately and fix the problem. overheating a rotary engine is almost instant death.

A vacuumn diagram isn't really necessary if you are just replacing the lines. Buy a vacuum line kit, then replace the lines one by one.

well for starters be very careful with the vacuum lines that sh*t is serious...if your going to build it then it all depends on the $$$ you would like to spend. you can make something around 200-250hp non turbo depending on the porting and the type of gas you use and if you go turbo the possibilities are endless lol. if you wna go really cheap go with a carb. if you want serious power and spend the extra money go fuel injection and keep in mind when you build it you may need to buy the ecu micro tech. (my favorite )or any other ecu. other than that just check the oil often (a lot more then you would a piston motor) and do frequent oil changes also...
