Aluminum Radiator has no AST Nipple

Hi guys, I was able to locally source an aluminum radiator for my '99 FD... but upon closer inspection it turns out that it doesn't have a provision for the AST line. I intend to replace the AST with an aftermarket tank... but then without a route to the radiator i'm a bit at a loss as to how to hook everything up.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

You have three options as far as I can tell....
1. Get another radiator with the proper nipple in the lower tank for the AST line.
2. Have a nipple welded in to the radiator you have now.
3. Properly delete the AST completely with a S5 filler neck cap and removing the filler neck nipple, and tapping the hole for a NPT plug.

FWIW, a picture of the S5 filler neck mentioned above, and plug. The S5 filler neck cap essentially takes the place of the AST as an air chamber. The hose seen in the picture runs directly to the coolant overflow tank.
