FL Air Control Valve causing bouncy idle?

I have an 87 turbo ii and the car was some what idling alright. Was told that the Air Control Valve might be dirty. Well I cleaned it and got it back together and now I'm having a bouncy idle between 900 to about 1500?

Before the AWS would never rev up to about 3k. Now it's engaging and when it drops it'll bounce the idle.

Anyone else had an issue with this? I've tried searching on google, here and youtube with no luck.

went to my nearest advance auto parts and they didn't have it so I bought some felpro gasket maker and molded a new one from the old one that was on.

It's not perfect but its pretty d*mn close to the original. You think that might be causing a leak?

It might have a leak but I don't know. I do know that car will turn on and will die if your ACV has a big leak. Try using gasket material instead with that gasket maker. Also look for damaged hoses around the BAC.
