Aftermarket Boost controller on Stock twins
Hi
In a few weeks i am getting my RX-7 Series 7 build 24.04.1996)from Japan and i am already busy buying parts for it .
I have already bought a Apexi Power FC and Commander (FD3S5) , and just ordered the new Greddy Profec Boost Controller GReddy
I am not a big fan of Analogue Gauges that's why i bought these items ( the power FC for tunability as the car already comes with a HKS Silent Hi Power exhaust ) and i want to rebuild the Engine and do a mild street port at the same time .
Now here is my question that i should have thought of before ordering .
As i will stay on sequential turbos for a while before going to single turbo . Will the Profec work on my setup ( as it only has one solenoid valve to control one turbo ?) I would be greatful if someone can answer me this question and also explain to me how the boost is then controlled with one solenoid .
My intention is to get everything installed by a reputable rotary tuner , but i just wanted to know beforehand if i forgot to buy something ( i am in South Africa , therefore long lead time on parts )
