i have my knight sports hyper rom 4bit ecu i think, with 4 yellow connectors that plug in i will add pics. Secondly i have recently purchased this brand new apexi ecu el version latest version for 98 99 +im sure being a newby the connections are not same this is a 16 bit ecu. Finally can i modify the harness or buy an adapter am i able to use this in my fd ,? any advice muchly appreciated answer my question to this thread guys cheers lads would be a desire to meet new friends to teach learn share thoughts n best of all go for a cruise lm keen as..

 

No, AFAIK there is no way to get a 16bit ECU working on an 8bit loom. You should be able to sell on your 16bit ECU and buy an 8bit version without losing out on cash.
