welcome to the board.

let's start with the obvious. are you coolant levels in the radiator and reservoir up to adequate levels?

is it overheating at idle or only when driven?

check the cap and see what rating it has and also if the system is actually holding that pressure.

actually check the new thermostat and confirm that it is opening.

are you getting any smoke/steam out the exhaust?

how often do you have to refill the system?

I recently just filled it with antifreeze seemed like it was just water in the system and it overheats at idle when driving its fine I think my electric fan isn't big enough to cool the motor I'm gonna replace the water pump just to be safe. The cap is holding pressure and I did my best to get all air out system and seems to run better.

yes. I would suspect the aftermarket fan is where your main issue lies.

he's got an 87 N/A so not applicable.

Post pics of your engine bay, especially the things around the rad location.

Leaks?.got any?..dripping?..
Checked any of that yet?

If you are overheating or losing coolant then you should find out WHY you are losing coolant as it just doesn't drink it like it was Gatorade.
